Product Description:
Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press is a practical brewing accessory designed to help coffee enthusiasts achieve more controlled and consistent V60 preparation. Featuring a V-shaped design with water-flow grooves, this clear filter press is designed to support more even water distribution across the coffee bed and enhance the extraction process.
For V60 brewing, water distribution plays an important role. Uneven pouring can leave some areas of the coffee bed less saturated while other areas receive more water. The Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press provides a simple way to support a more controlled brewing setup while fitting universally with 01 and 02 V60-style drippers.
Designed for More Even Water Distribution
Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press features a V-shaped profile with water-flow grooves designed around the geometry of V60 brewing. The grooves help guide water through the brewing area, supporting more even distribution during preparation.
By encouraging water to move through the coffee bed more consistently, the press can help reduce uneven saturation and support a more balanced extraction.
For coffee enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with pour-over recipes, this provides an additional tool for refining the brewing process. Instead of relying entirely on pouring technique, the filter press becomes part of the brewing setup to help manage water movement.
Universal Fit for 01 & 02 Drippers
One of the key advantages of this Barista Ware accessory is its universal fit for V60 01 and 02 drippers.
Whether you’re using a compact V60 setup for a single serving or a larger 02 dripper for everyday brewing, the press is designed to work across both sizes.
This makes it a convenient addition to a home coffee station where different V60 drippers may be used. It also provides flexibility for coffee enthusiasts who switch between brewing volumes or different V60-compatible setups.
Support a More Controlled Extraction
Extraction is influenced by several variables, including grind size, water temperature, coffee-to-water ratio, pouring technique and water distribution.
The Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press focuses specifically on the distribution aspect of that process. Its grooved V-shaped design helps guide water through the filter area, supporting more consistent contact between water and coffee.
This can be particularly useful when you’re refining your brewing technique and looking for ways to make each brew more repeatable.
The press does not replace good brewing technique, but it can complement a controlled V60 workflow by helping manage how water moves through the brewing setup.
Clear Design for Easy Visibility
The clear finish gives the Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press a clean, minimalist appearance that fits naturally into a modern coffee setup.
The transparent design also allows the brewing process to remain visually accessible rather than obscuring the filter and dripper completely.
For home baristas who enjoy watching the brewing process, this keeps the accessory visually unobtrusive while adding useful functionality to the setup.
Built for V60 Coffee Preparation
V60 brewing is popular because it gives coffee enthusiasts significant control over the brewing process. Small adjustments to pouring, grind size and recipe parameters can change the final result.
Barista Ware V60 Filter Paper Press is designed to complement that hands-on brewing experience. It provides an additional method for managing water flow and distribution while maintaining compatibility with both 01 and 02 drippers.
Whether you’re preparing a daily morning coffee, testing a new specialty coffee or refining your pour-over recipe, it can become a useful part of your brewing toolkit.
The 500g capacity specified for the product also provides a useful reference for its intended coffee preparation application.
